My name is Raafeke and as a cultural storyteller, my mission is to connect the world through short stories inspired by my Caribbean culture. With roots in Carriacou (Grenada) and Guyana, I draw on the collective history of the region, as well as the broader African diaspora to educate and inspire. 

 My debut novel, Radiance Lost, was published in 2021, and am currently sharing more of my work via Medium and my Caribbean writing podcast, Parrotbeetie.  

I am based in Manhattan, but Brooklyn is my childhood home.
